With Guest: Hassan Issah is a Ghanaian artist from Kumasi, holding an MFA and BFA from KNUST. His practice explores theatricality, objecthood, and situations through painting, sculpture, and installation. Issah incorporates diverse materials like wallpapers, paints, and objects, often referencing art historical epochs.

His work reflects the ordinary and everyday experiences, particularly from his Zango community roots. Issah has exhibited extensively, including at Documenta 15 in Kassel, Germany, and prominent institutions in Ghana, the US, and Europe, showcasing his unique blend of cultural heritage and contemporary art. His work challenges notions of art and its interpretations.
